Location

The apartment is situated right in the heart of the old town, just behind the historic Grote Markt with the impressive St. Bavo, the tourist office, and the bustling Saturday Market. Surrounded by historical sites, charming cafés, shops, and restaurants, you won’t want to miss the Teylers Museum and the Frans Hals Museum, both within walking distance.

Much of the old center of Haarlem is car-free, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It’s easily accessible, just a half-hour bus ride from Schiphol Airport via bus 300. Haarlem Central Station is a convenient ten-minute walk away, ideal if you’re planning day trips to Amsterdam (18 minutes by train) or the beaches of Zandvoort or Bloemendaal aan Zee.

To explore the beautiful surroundings, consider renting bikes. Parking in the city center is subject to charges, so if you arrive by car, you can either park (for free) at Station Haarlem Spaarnwoude or in one of the nearby parking garages.
